As you may already know, my name is Abhimanyu Singh Chundawat — also known as your Guide Explorateur. Over the years, my travellers have given me a few memorable nicknames: Mr Solution, The King of Surprises, and even The Genie. Each reveals a little part of my personality.
If we haven’t met in person, I should probably warn you: there’s still a lively, mischievous child in me! Cracking jokes, planning surprises, and occasionally doing something completely crazy are simply part of who I am. Perhaps that’s why you’re here, curious to discover the stories behind my journey so far.
Before becoming a tour guide, I worked as a chef at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Cooking was my first love, and it still holds an important place in my life. I sometimes even cook for my travellers during our trips. My grandfather once told me: “You can reach a person’s heart through the tongue — with flavours or with words.” The funny thing is, that advice seems to have been made for me: I can do both! Perhaps that’s how I create experiences for my travellers that no one else could offer in quite the same way.
Since 2009, I have accompanied travellers from many countries, most of them French-speaking. Over more than fifteen years, we have shared countless unforgettable moments — some moving, others surprising, sometimes completely unexpected and occasionally downright hilarious.
